For her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Kerry Washington looked stunning in a semi-sheer Giambattista Valli dress with a bedazzled neckline and lace panel with sequins underneath. The actor received her very own star on December 2, with the ceremony taking place in Los Angeles, California. Her parents, Earl and Valerie Washington, were also present at the event to show support for their daughter’s achievement.

Kerry Washington stuns in a sleeveless Giambattista Valli dress for Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony

Kerry Washington recently had her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, and she did it in style in a semi-sheer dress from Giambattista Valli. The actor went for a glamorous all-black look, complete with matching peep-toe heels from Andrea Wazen. Her mom matched her energy, rocking a smart black set with pearl detailing around her waist.

The star’s Giambattista Valli sleeveless piece featured an eye-catching bedazzled neckline. She matched her jewelry pieces to the gems around her neck to ensure the bling complements her fashion choices. The dress also had a gorgeous sequined lace panel that could be seen through the semi-sheer fabric. To lend some shape to the flowy silhouette, the black number also featured a pretty bow at the waist.

According to WWD, Washington was paying tribute to Audrey Hepburn’s iconic look from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” She evoked the late icon with her hairstyle as well. The actor opted for a sleek updo that was the work of hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew. For her bling, she went with pieces from Anayah Jewellery. The overall styling was done by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, with Carola Gonzalez working on her makeup and Sreynin Peng working on her nails.

During her speech at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Kerry Washington thanked her mom and dad for pushing her to pursue her dreams. She was grateful they taught her to never give up and always believe in herself and her grand dreams.

Margot Robbie has been smashing out the monochrome lately. Whether it was her black bewitching Saint Laurent gown for the 2015 Oscars or her black-and-white striped maxi for the after-party, there’s no such thing as a grey area for Margot at the moment.

The Australian actress tried to mix up her much-loved colour palette with exciting fabrics and textures for the LA premiere of Focus at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday, February 24, but, unfortunately, we feel like it was all a bit much.

The sheer-black Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture gown featured a contrasting-white waistband and feathered neckline, and could’ve looked a lot cleaner if just one white element has been removed. The slicked back piece of hair also came across as a little punk-rock, which was off the mark considering her gown was so elegant.
