The custom-made dress featured a deep plunging V-neckline with ruffled patterns around it. It also showcased gorgeous cutout sleeves. The form-fitted bodice of the gown fell into a flowy long skirt. She wore an elegant titanium white, floor-length coat on top of a cozy black sweater. The actor gave the chic ensemble a note of quirkiness by pairing it with snowy white tights. As it is, Turner-Smith looked stunning in this black-and-white attire, which is a perfect way to welcome the holiday season in style.

The actor opted for the perfect blend of formal and stylish in NYC to promote her upcoming spy thriller series, “The Agency,” on NBC’s “Today” show. Her outfit featured a warm and fuzzy jet-black sweater. She styled it by donning a long and stylish coat in titanium white. However, the biggest highlight of the actor’s outfit was the bottom part. 

Turner-Smith ditched pants in favor of a pair of semi-sheer white tights from Calzedonia. She further included a white bottom lingerie piece over the tights. Interestingly, one side of the lingerie piece showcased a flower appliqué. The white tights beautifully flaunted Turner-Smith’s toned legs. The actor paired the ensemble with classic black pointed-toe pumps. According to  Harper’s Bazaar, she also carried a matching titanium white boxy and small bag from Brandon Blackwood to complete the look.

As for accessories, Jodie Turner-Smith wore a pair of dainty and sparkly studs and multiple rings. One of the rings exhibited a massive turquoise stone, adding a pop of color to the black-and-white outfit. She also donned classy black oval sunglasses to make the look very chic. The mother of one also flaunted her winter-inspired long manicure. Lastly, she went for glossy makeup for the outfit, featuring a glossy full natural lip and highlighted cheekbones.

Last night, stars from the world of fashion, film, music and entertainment were out in full force to celebrate the opening of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit.

Naturally, the most buzz-worthy spectacle on the fashion calendar generated a vast amount of show-stopping fashion moments for us to sit back and fawn over. The “The Garden of Time” dress code, inspired by a short story from 1962 of the same title by J.G. Ballard could have perhaps been interpreted in a variety of different ways. As expected, however, a whole multitude of archival magic was unearthed and florals for spring actually proved to be somewhat… groundbreaking.

Kim Kardashian requested Maison Margiela’s John Galliano create a haute couture look composed of a pale grey cashmere cardigan, a corset rewoven from antique silver brocade and a skirt in tooled silver metal evoking lace and florals. A staggering 98,000 crystals later and Anok Yai hit the famed steps of the 2024 Met Gala in a custom Swarovski creation while South African singer required a little help up the stairs, essentially donning a Balmain sand sculpture. Zendaya opted for not one but two breathtaking looks. This year’s Met Gala co-host first descended upon the event showcasing a striking ocean-blue gown by John Galliano for Maison Margiela that included a dramatic matching headpiece. The undisputed style icon later ventured up the steps again in a black archival look from Givenchy’s Spring 1996 haute couture collection (designed by the late Alexander McQueen). Inspired by a Richard Avedon photograph, Nicole Kidman asked Balenciaga’s Denma to breath new life into an original monochromatic Cristóbal Balenciaga creation from 1951 while Demi Moore hit all the right notes in a Harris Reed confection.

After skipping 2020 and scaling back a bit in 2021, we expected the 2022 Met Gala to really bring the drama. Not to mention the fashion. Thankfully, we aren’t disappointed.

Continuing the theme of “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” there was plenty of gilded glamour. There were corsets, structured skirts and opera gloves galore. But there were several stars who either downright ignored the theme or tried to put a modern spin on it. For example, Janelle Monáe’s Ralph Lauren look was a futuristic interpretation.

We spotted a surprising amount of cut-out accents. We were also taken aback by the sheer volume of see-through sections. (See what we did there?) Kim Kardashian certainly turned heads decked out in Marilyn Monroe’s iconic Jean Louis dress.

Both Blake Lively and Sydney Sweeney did an outfit reveal on the red carpet. The former rocked two Atelier Versace creations that paid tribute to the Statue of Liberty. The latter transformed her Tory Burch gown into a minidress.

Suits were also popular. Cara Delevingne, Irina Shayk and Chloë Grace Moretz all stepped out in striking style. It was actually a welcome contrast to all the dynamic dresses.

“Too many covers, but with this lineup I can understand it! Nicole and Gwyneth are the winners for sure. I like all of them though!” commented apple.
